WINDOWS:
If you wish to place an order for a window, please provide as many details as you can, including the expected size and colour, as well as any design ideas you may have. Don’t worry if you’re uncertain – we are here to assist.

BESPOKE GIFTS:
We also accept commissions for other smaller glass items that aren’t windows. If you would like a quote, please get in touch with us and provide an outline of what you would like, including size, colour, text and any design ideas.

What types of commissions do you offer?

We offer leaded light windows, gifts, and smaller glass items tailored to your needs.

How long does the process take?

The timeline varies based on the project size, and other ongoing work. The process involves creating a design based on the brief. Once agreed the piece can be constructed. Glass is cut to the cartoon (pattern). Any painted elements need to be fired - sometimes multiple firings are required. The glass is then leaded together and the joints are soldered. finally a layer of glass cement/putty is pushed under the leads to ensure the panel is weatherproof and solid.

Can I customize my order?

Absolutely! We encourage you to share your ideas for personalized designs and specific requirements. Provide as much information as possible - colour, design ideas, photos, sketches or provide nothing and leave it to us to come up with an idea.

What is the pricing structure?

Pricing depends on the following: size of the piece, complexity of the design and colour (some colours of glass are more expensive than others) we provide quotes upon request.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 25% deposit is required to secure your commission and cover initial materials.

What materials do you use?

The glass used can be coloured or textured and lead is used to bring the design together. Surface treatments include the use of paint and enamels and also fused glass elements,
